Temple Grandin biography
Temple Grandin is a smart, brilliant girl that didn't talk until she was turned four. This is when her mother found out that she was autistic because the doctor told her. They thought Temple couldn't manage to do it but her mother proves them wrong. Temple's mother proves them wrong by pushing Temple past her limit and working with her. She was an autistic girl that didn't talk the age she needed to start talking. She was different from other kids in the school. In addition she saw many different things in many ways that we could not see, hear, or notice. Temple Grandin was born in August 29, 1947 in Boston, Massachusetts. The disability that she had was when had a temper tantrum, she would get punished. Her punishment was no TV for a day when she did a temper tantrum at school or home. When she threw a temper tantrum at home, her mother would put Temple in her room and Temple would let it all out by screaming. After thirty-minutes she had expressed herself or let it out , she got calm and got to join her family once again. Temples's two close friends were her professor and her mom. Dr. Temple Grandin is not married. She also does not have any children. She has a doctoral degree in animal science, a master's degree in animal science and a degree in psychology. Temple Grandin works as a consultant to companies on how to improve their qualities of their cattle in the large animal slaughterhouse.
